About April
I grew up in a small town called Campbell, in the southeastern corner of Missouri. I lived on a twenty acre farm down a long gravel road (out in the middle of nowhere.) As soon as I finished high school, I attended college in Branson, Missouri at The College of the Ozarks, (A private work-study school) where I studied theater and creative writing. I graduated in 2001 with my B.S. in Theater and Minor in Rhetoric. A year later, I made the move to Los Angeles to pursue a career in acting.
Even though I was working as a full time model, I found time to Guest Star on CBS's CSI MIAMI, and co-star on the FX series The Shield, and HBO's Entourage. I was the lead female in Motley Crue's latest video, If I Die Tomorrow. And I was also a Co-Host of TBS's Ripley's Believe It or Not, and the host of my own extreme sports series on ESPN 2 called The Hook.
In 2005, I became Model #14 on NBC's hit game show Deal or No Deal for the first 38 episodes. But, I had to put down my briefcase to begin filming my first lead movie role as Daisy Duke in the Warner Brother's Film, Dukes of Hazzard: The Beginning (starring Willie Nelson, Christopher McDonald, Harland Williams, Jonathan Bennett, and Randy Wayne).

Over the past year, I have continued to keep busy modeling, hosting and acting. I was a Co-Host of Spike TV's
Guys Choice Awards, the Host of the Paranormal News with April Scott, and the Host of both Ripe TV, and the Octane Network. I have also had the lead female roles in the comedy I Do...I Did (also starring Cherry Johnson, Marcus Patrick, and Shar Jackson), the horror film Nite Tales (also starring Gary Busey and Tiny Lister), Coma (also starring Michael Madsen and George Hamilton), and I recently completed another comedy called The Penthouse (also starring Ryder Strong, Corey Large, and Jimmy DeBello.) All of these films are releasing later this year.
I have also been lucky enough to be on the covers of several magazines: MAXIM, Cover of 2008 MAXIM Celebrity Calendar, People Magazine (Australia), Breed Magazine, Image Magazine, 944 LosAngeles, 944 Vegas, 944 San Diego, 944 Scottsdale, Fitness Rx,Best Body, Sense, Rounders, Import Tuner, Knockout, Mopar, to name a few.
I was also voted by People Magazine as one of the 100 Most Beautiful People of 2006, in the MAXIM HOT 100 for the past two years, and #62 on Stuff Magazine's 2007 list of the 100 Sexiest Women Alive. Not too shabby for a girl from Southeast Missouri...
